Steel

To get Steel, smelt an Iron Ingot in a Furnace or Blast Furnace.
Using a Blast Furnace will smelt faster and use less fuel.

Note: If you play this mod while also having either Railcraft, Immersive Engineering, or Mekanism installed, our recipe for Steel Ingots will automatically be disabled in favor of those mod's more involved way of getting Steel.

  • Metals were moved to ADDSynth Materials.
  • We now check if Immersive Engineering or Mekanism is installed and disable the Steel recipe if they are.
  • Now uses the vanilla Blast Furnace to make Steel instead of a Furnace.

Added back the furnace smelting recipe for Steel Ingots so they can be automated using electric furnaces from other mods. (Using a Blast Furnace is still the more efficient method if you're not getting free energy.)
