ADDSynth Materials adds 5 new gem types:

Ruby Topaz Citrine Sapphire Amethyst

Get them by mining their Ores which spawn in the world as part of terrain generation using the following default settings:

• Tries: 3 (for each gem type)
• On layers 5 to 40 (inclusive)
• On each try, replace 1 Stone Block with a gem Ore block.

All gem Ores must be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or better and will drop the gem when mined. We also generate Vanilla Emerald Ore using these same settings.

You can craft 9 gems together to get a Gem Block, and craft the Gem Block back into 9 gems.

These gems and their block forms are assigned appropiate block and item tags. This makes them cross-mod compatible.
