Music Box

The music grid is divided into 8 rows and 8 columns. The rows are tracks and the columns are frames. Press different keys on your keyboard to change your currently selected note. The music notes you can select are the same played by the Note Block. Left-click inside the grid to set notes and right-click to delete them. There is also a config option that you can enable to swap these controls.

To change track instruments, first click on the instrument icon at the bottom of the gui, then click the instrument icon beside the track. In Minecraft 1.12 and Minecraft 1.13, there are 10 instruments available. In Minecraft 1.14 and later there are 16 instruments.

Click the M button to mute the track. The speed/tempo can be controlled by the left and right buttons in the top-left corner of the gui. You can click the swap tracks buttons on the right side of the gui to swap tracks.

Click the Play button to play THIS Music Box to hear how it sounds. To activate a Music Box for real, use a redstone signal. Click the Next button in the top-right corner to change the search direction. When a Music Box that was activated with a redstone signal is done playing, it will search the NEXT direction for another Music Box and then play that one.
