It's now time to prepare to go to space. Of course you're going to need a lot of equipment and materials to protect yourself and build a base on other planets.
Galacticraft has a very simple
Pre-Launch Checklist.
In this objective we're going to go over our own recommended list of things that you need to survive in space.
Craft a
Frequency Module.
The Frequency Module, when worn, will allow you to hear things normally when in Space. Click on the
Galacticraft tab in your inventory and place the Frequency Module in its appropiate slot.
Craft an
Oxygen Mask, Oxygen Gear,
and 2 Heavy Oxygen Tanks.
Place them in their appropiate slots in your Galacticraft inventory. You need to use the
Oxygen Compressor,
which you should have already, to fill up the Oxygen Tanks with Oxygen.
And the final piece of equipment the Parachute. Craft the
Parachute
using Canvases.
When returning from other planets you're going to be glad you had a Parachute.
Place the Parachute in its appropiate slot in your Galacticraft inventory.
Now you need to collect all the materials you're going to need to build a base on the moon. You may not agree with
our list, but that's okay.
You may bring whatever you like, but the important thing is that you survive, and you
can make it back. You don't need to worry about Thermal Padding right now since it's not required on the Moon.
Put all of these supplies in your rocket. Right-click your Rocket to enter it and press the default key G to access the Rocket's inventory.
An enchanted Diamond Sword, to help defend against monsters.
A Diamond Pickaxe, for mining meteorites on the Moon.
5 stacks of Glowstone Torches.
Use Shears to collect 4 stacks of Leaves.
3 Advanced Solar Panels to power machines.
1 Oxygen Collector.
1 Oxygen Bubble Distributor.
1 Oxygen Compressor for resuplying Oxygen Tanks with Oxygen.
1 Fuel Loader
1 Coal Generator for emergency power.
1 Electric Furnace (or just use a vanilla Furnace, but bring along extra Charcoal.)
1 Electric Compressor
1 Energy Storage Cluster
1.5 stacks of Aluminum Wire. (96)
1 stack of Fluid Pipe.
2 Buckets of Fuel.
7 to 10 stacks of your preferred building material. We like to use Stone Bricks.
