The Hunt for Meteorites

It's very likely you've already run across those large meteorites that leave large craters while we've been exploring. It's time to take a closer look at them. Craft a Meteorite Compass and get an achievement.

The Meteorite Compass will point towards the nearest chunk that contains an Applied Energistics Meteorite. Sometimes the meteorite is underground, so you'll have to dig for it. Use your Diamond Pickaxe to mine the meteorite to its center, where there'll be a chest. And inside the chest is an Inscriber Press. You'll get the Unknown Technology achievement when you pick it up. We need 4 different Presses, so keep finding and mining meteorites until we've found them all. There is the Silicon Press, Logic Press, Calculation Press, and the Engineering Press.

If you play with other players who have already found the Presses, You can ask them to use the Inscriber to make a copy of the Press.
