Get Sugar Cane and Pumpkins

Get your Shears and a Boat.

Now we go exploring to look for Sugar Cane and Pumpkins. Shear any Sheep you find to get as much Wool as you can. If you encounter a desert, record its coordinates.

Once you have Sugar Cane and Pumpkins, return to your base and begin planting them. Continue replanting them to increase the size and grow more at a time.

Attract animals and make a Farm

Use some Wheat and Seeds to lure some Cows, Sheep and Chickens to your base. Any additional animals is your preference.

First, kill a cow and collect some Leather to get an Achievement.

Then use Wheat to breed 2 cows and get another Achievement.

Get Sand and Cactus

If you haven't found a desert, now we need to find one. Craft 6 Stone Shovels to take with you. Use the 6 Stone Shovels to get ~12 stacks of Sand. Pick up any Cactus that you run across.
