Railcraft Tanks
To make a Railcraft Tank, you must first build the frame out of Tank Wall blocks, in the dimensions of your choice. Valid tanks require a length and width of 3, 5, 7, or 9, and a height anywhere between 4 and 8. Once you have the frame in place, you can fill the sides with any combination of Tank Wall, Gauge, or Valve, however it is very common to fill the top and bottom with Tank Wall, and the sides with Iron Tank Gauges. The Tank is used to hold large amounts of liquids. The number of buckets it can hold can be calculated using the formula: length * width * height * 16. The data that defines the liquid in the tank is stored in the bottom center block. Therefore, if any part of your tank gets destroyed or removed, as long as the bottom center block is in place, you can repair your tank and it will retain all the liquid that was in it before.
Valves are used to insert or extract liquids from tanks using Fluid Pipes. However, you can only extract liquid from the bottom-most 2 blocks. You can stack tanks on top of one another with a Valve as the center block, and both tanks will act as one big tank.
The only difference between the Iron Tank and the Steel Tank is that the Steel Tanks hold twice as much as liquid.

Water Tank
Arrange 26 blocks in a 3x3x3 structure with the center hollowed out to form the Water Tank.
The Water Tank passively generates water and keeps it in its internal tank. The speed at which it generates depends on which biome it is in.
