Assemble 12 blocks in a 3x2x2 structure to form the Steam Turbine. This machine takes Steam as an input and produces energy. This machine accepts up to a maximum of 320mb of Steam per tick, which is equivalent to 8 Buildcraft Gold Pipes. Once Steam is used and converted to power, you can then pipe out Water.

The Turbine will only function if it has a Turbine Rotor inside. After the Turbine has been running for approximately 84 Real-Time hours, the Rotor will break and you will need a new one. The Turbine will output a Buildcraft Gate condition just before its Rotor breaks. Use Charge Shunting Wire or other wire to transfer power to your machines.

Used as a crafting ingredient for the Turbine Disk.

The Steam Turbine will only function if it has a Rotor inside. As it's running, the Rotor will slowly lose durability. You can use the Vanilla Minecraft repair system and crafting a damaged Rotor with another damaged Rotor and get a slightly repaired Rotor.
