Laser Base

Unline the Laser Drill from MineFactory Reloaded, the Laser Base does not need Line-of-Sight to Bedrock. Supply the Laser Base with Energy from the Laser Drills (below) and this machine will provide you ores based on the Biome and the Drill Depth that you specify. You can get most Ores from specifying a Drill Depth between 10 and 16.

TODO: Add a table with the default Min and Max Depths for all Ores. But that would be too large, so this needs to be in its own page.

These values can be modified in the config/laser_drill_ores/default_ores.json file, as well as add or remove Ores.

You can increase the likelyhood of getting a particular Ore by adding a Laser Lens that of the color Ore you want to get. Conversely, you can decrease the likelyhood of getting an Ore by inserting an Inverted Laser Lens.

Laser Drill

The Drill Base cannot be powered directly. You must place these Laser Drills 2 blocks away from the Laser Base and facing towards the Laser Base. Connect the Laser Drills to a source of power and they will in turn provide energy to the Laser Base.

Ore Processor

This machine gets the item material from Ores that would normally drop the item if you had mined it, such as Coal Ore or Diamond Ore. I didn't entirely understand what the point of this machine was, because if it was just automation, you can usually smelt the Ores and get the item that way. But this machine has an extra feature in that if you supply some Essence, this machine will mine the Ore using a Fortune enchantment.

Ore Dictionary Converter

If 2 or more items are registered with the same OreDictionary Name, then you can use this machine to convert one item to another.
