Galacticraft Lights
Glowstone Torch
If you find yourself on a planet that doesn't have Oxygen, then not only can you not breathe, but you can never get a fire going. Your Vanilla Minecraft Torches will not work. The solution to this is to use Glowstone Torches. You must bring a supply of Glowstone Torches with you, else you become victim to a horde of Evolved mobs when that planet's night phase begins, which is determined by that planet's rotation speed.
Light Panels
Light Panels are blocks that emit light. They also have a pattern on them. There are 5 different
types of patterns, and they can be rotated with the
Galacticraft Wrench
to face every direction and orientation. Each pattern emits a different light level.
Light Panels can be camouflaged to look like another block. Hold [crouch] when you place Light Panels and the Light Panel will look like the block you placed it on. Then you can rotate the pattern wherever you want. Each of the 5 different patterns will remember which block you selected to be copied. So far, there is no way to revert Light Panels to their default texture.
You can use the
Chromatic Applicator
to change the color of the pattern on Light Panels.

A very powerful light source. This lights up a very wide area, doesn't require power to function, and it repels mobs. Use the
Standard Wrench
to rotate.
