P2P Tunnels

P2P Tunnels (Point to Point) are used to transmit things across distances. You need 2 P2P Tunnels connected to the same network, and each P2P Tunnel uses a channel.

To link the two P2P Tunnels, Shift-Right-click the Input Tunnel with the Memory Card, then Right-click the Output Tunnel with the Memory Card. You can have 1 Input Tunnel output to multiple P2P Tunnels.

Right-click the P2P Tunnel with an item according to the information below, to change the type of P2P Tunnel.

P2P Tunnel - ME

This is the default P2P Tunnel when you craft them. This P2P Tunnel allows you to transmit ME Cables. Like all Applied Energistics devices, they can only attach to the normal-sized ME Cables, and not the Dense ME Cable. Route any ME Cable through the P2P Tunnel (the flat white side) and it will connect to any ME Cable coming out of the P2P Tunnel on the other side. There is one restriction, All P2P Tunnels must be directly connected to your ME Controller. They cannot use channels that are coming through another P2P Tunnel.

  • Any ME Cable will turn the P2P Tunnel into an ME P2P Tunnel.
P2P Tunnel - Redstone

As long as the two P2P Tunnels are connected to the same network, both have an available channel to use, and are linked, they will transmit the Redstone state from Input Tunnel to Output Tunnel.

  • Redstone Dust
P2P Tunnel - Light

The Input Tunnel will check what light level it's at and pass on the light level to all Output Tunnels.

  • Torch
P2P Tunnel - Items

I think these P2P Tunnels are meant to be used with some form of Item Transport Pipes from another mod.

P2P Tunnel - Fluid

It's possible these P2P Tunnels are meant to be used with some kind of Fluid Pipes from another mod, but this hasn't been tested.

  • Any Bucket
  • Any Liquid Container
  • Any Buildcraft Fluid Pipe
