ME Pattern Terminal
Like any Terminal this shows you an inventory of all the items currently stored in your network, but this Terminal
has an added functionality to enable you to encode Crafting Patterns onto
Blank Patterns.
The Encoded Patterns are then used in the
Molecular Assembler
to craft the pattern.
There's a little button on the ME Pattern Terminal that will switch between Crafting mode and Processing mode. The Processing mode will allow you to specify recipe patterns for other machines such as the Furnace or the Rolling Machine from Railcraft.
You can insert an Encoded Pattern into a crafting grid and craft it by itself to clear its data and turn it back to a Blank Pattern.
Molecular Assembler
The Molecular Assembler is used to craft items from Encoded Patterns. Insert the Encoded Pattern and the Molecular Assembler
will take items from an adjacent inventory, craft your item, and put it back in the same inventory. This machine needs
power
to function. It is common practice to place
ME Interfaces
next to the Molecular Assembler so it has access to all the items in your ME storage.
ME Interface Terminal
Gives you remote access to all ME Interface devices in your network. To help distinguish between devices you can rename the ME Interfaces using either the Inscriber or the Anvil, and the name will show up in the ME Interface Terminal. This is primarily used to remotely insert or take out Crafting Patterns to and from the ME Interfaces that are next to your Molecular Assemblers.
