In the beginning, the Warfare series was meant to be more of a programming challenge rather than an actual game. I wanted to make a game that was like Mario Party, except the objective was to kill the other players.

During development of Warfare 1, I came up with a bunch of new ideas I could add in the game. I started work on Warfare 2 before Warfare 1 was finished. This game is non-linear and you can customize it to your preference.

I haven't written the instructions for Warfare 2 yet. Read the instructions from the first Warfare game, which should explain most of what you need to know to play this game. However Warfare 2 introduces new features:

  • Warfare 2 supports up to 10 players.
  • Proper team tracking.
  • Can now specify AI difficulty.
  • Added Oil Drums which randomly explode.
  • Introduced Swiping, (Steal item from enemy and cause 5 damage)
  • New Items.

I do not recommend playing Warfare 1. Whenever I get around to working on Warfare 3, I will be using the Unity game engine, and it won't be turn-based anymore. It'll play in real-time.
